Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies
The San Diego Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies originated in Pembrokeshire,Wales. It is a breed of herding dogs. It is one of the two dog breeds that are referred to as the Welsh Corgi with the second being the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. The Welsh corgi makes the list of the smallest dog in the Herding Group. They are widely recognized for being the preferred dog by Queen Elizabeth II who owned over 30 of them. The dog has been preferred by the British royalties for over 70 years now. In spite of being used as a companion dog, it is considered to be a brilliant working dog.
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies San Diego are longer than they are tall. They have short legs which bring them low to the ground. The skull is wide and flat between its ears. The top line is level. The nose is black in color and the stop is considered to be moderate. The jaws make a level bite. The eyes are oval shaped and come in shades of brown. The eyes have rims of black. The medium sized ears are erect and taper slightly to a rounded point. The most noticeable feature of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy San Diego is the short legs. The feet are oval shaped. The dewclaws are often removed. At times, this breed is born without a tail or the tail may be docked to the shortest length possible.
The dog has a double coat. The undercoat is short, thick and weather resistant. The outer coat is coarse and long. The coat colors include sable, red, black, and fawn, black and tan with or without some white markings. The dog may have markings of white on the chest, legs, neck as well as parts of the muzzle.
The main differences between the two Welsh Corgi is that the Pembroke does not have a tail whereas the Cardigan has a very long tail. The legs of the Pembroke are straight since it’s not as long as the Cardigan. The Pembroke is also lighter.
The San Diego Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies are highly intelligent, loyal and always willing to please. This breed is always active and has been considered to be great with kids. They also make great guards and are very obedient. They are, however, wary of strangers and need proper socialization and training from an early age. They also need a determined, consistent as well as loving leader who has calm leadership. They may develop the small dog syndrome or start herding people if the pack leader is meek.

The double coat needs brushing and combing daily. You should only bathe him when absolutely necessary. The dog sheds twice annually. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy San Diego will also need daily walks. You should also never over feed him else he will gain weight.
