The eyes are dark, large and wide set. The ears are V-shaped and hang on either side of the head. The dog has a level top-line and a chest brisket that extends to the top of the elbows. The outer coat is long, straight and wavy whereas the undercoat is soft and woolly. The coat has both patterns and colors.

The Tibetan terrier puppy San Diego is very flea sensitive. It is also prone to hip dysplasia and PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy).
The Tibetan terrier puppies San Diego have a lot of energy. They will need to be given regular opportunities to run so as to shed the extra energy. Daily long walks or jogs will also be helpful. The coat should be brushed every 2 to 3 days to get rid of loose hair and to prevent tangling. A bath once every week will also be great. The breed is not recommended for allergy sufferers.
